OF FRICTION AND GRAVITY (2020)

A short film accompaniment to the artist’s second novella, And Then Gone, in which, in the wake of an unnamed calamity, a solitary woman travels back to her childhood home, navigating the maze of narrow roads that cross-cut England’s hinterlands below Hadrian’s Wall. The film is composed of excerpts from the book that focus on the experience of time in isolated rural locations.
