MEMORIOUS EARTH (2015)

A short film for the Furness Fells of south-west Cumbria, UK. Real-time footage of mist enveloping the Cumbrian uplands is intercut with a series of toponymic and mythopoeic texts that obliquely explore the environmental degradation of upland landscapes as a consequence of anthropogenic deforestation.
